Since 2006, children and young people between the ages of 3 and 14 have received a free, warm meal every weekend at the Harburg Red Cross’s “Children´s Plate” children’s meal centre. Many volunteer helpers look after the youngsters, a wonderful thing. The “Children´s Plate” is financed entirely from donations.
This year, the Kinderteller was delighted to have raised a total of €4,050. The donation was ceremoniously presented to the Kinderteller in the form of a symbolic cheque. Harburg’s prominent former footballer Ingo Brussolo (left on the photo) has been collecting donations at football tournaments for years. So far, he has been able to pass on over 45,000 euros in this way.
