Otto Brandes GmbH is once again supporting the prevention work of the BDK (Association of German Criminal Investigators) this year and is delighted
to co-sponsor the new brochure ‘Dependency and Addiction’.

Addiction and dependency can occur anywhere – in the city, in the countryside, at home or at work.

It affects not only the addicts themselves, but also those around them. And it is not just about drugs: alcohol, nicotine, medication, the internet and gambling can also lead to dependency.

The current brochure provides an overview of the different types of dependency, explains the symptoms and offers practical tips for self-help and prevention. This is supplemented by information on the legal situation, advice from the criminal investigation department and addresses where those affected and their relatives can find support.

With our contribution, we want to raise awareness of this important issue and help to promote help and education.

We are delighted that we were able to accompany and support the creation of this prevention brochure again this year.
